Ludza for blind people
“Working and Cultural Centre Leavers” means an organisation which has been granted public benefit status in its daily activities to improve the quality of life of the population by promoting the development of lifelong learning and cultural environment.
As the next stop, we chose the medieval ruins of Ludza.
The ruins of the castle are a favourite lounge for the city-dwellers and guests, with the most beautiful panorama of the city. There are a number of beautiful legends associated with the ancient palace, its king and the ruined princess, which the tourist guide will tell us.
Then we'll go to the Ludza Municipal Research Museum.
The museum was set up in the house of Napoleon's war hero, General Kultneva. The museum's history exposure broadly reflects the history of the lead from the most ancient times to the times. In nature exposure, you can obtain information about birds and animals that occur in Latgale's four habitats: lake, forest, meadow, swamp. Exhibition halls regularly display exhibitions of arts and crafts. It is interesting to have an open-air department that allows you to get an idea of buildings and households of previous centuries in Latgale fields.
And then, let's finish the tour on the Musical raft with the Tihovsky family.
If you want to feel the latgalic colorite during the outing – sing with the Tihovsky family Latgalian folk songs, learn the names of international instruments and practice in the instrument game.
